How do you get malignant mesothelioma?

As we already know, malignant mesothelioma is caused by asbestos and is therefor known as asbestosis or asbestos cancer.

Asbestos was once regarded as being a miracle mineral due to it's tough characteristics and weight. Asbestos also had great heat-resistant properties.
Asbetsos was used in many commercial and consumer products, from construction, roof shingles and insulation, to consumer and industrial applications such as hair dryers and brake pads.

Most people diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma worked on jobs where they breathed asbestos. Others were exposed to asbestos in a household environment without knowing it.

Malignant mesothelioma is the first stage in mesothelioma.
